What Deskbloom is

Deskbloom is a free wellness-reminder app for desk and remote workers, offered by Alera.

What we store on your device

Your reminder settings, daily stats and streak are stored locally in your browser (localStorage). They never leave your device unless you subscribe with your email.

What we collect if you subscribe

• Your email address, signup date, and current streak — used to save your progress and send you a weekly wellness recap and occasional wellness emails from Alera.
• Basic technical data with the signup request (IP address, browser user-agent) — used only for abuse prevention.

Push notifications

If you enable background reminders, we store your browser's anonymous push subscription and your reminder schedule so our server can deliver reminders when the app is closed. This contains no personal information beyond what your browser's push service provides, and you can revoke it anytime by disabling notifications.

What we don't do

• We never sell or share your email with third parties.
• No account, password or payment is ever required — the app is fully usable without giving any data.

Unsubscribing & deletion

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. To have your data deleted, email us at youralera@gmail.com and we'll remove it promptly.
